Arrest for Circumveting an Ignition Interlock Device, Multiple Charges Pending

Tahnasia Perkins booking photoRochester, NH – On April 28, 2022, detectives of the New Hampshire State Police, Troop G – Investigations Unit arrested Tahnasia Perkins, 26, of Rochester, New Hampshire. Investigators had received information that Perkins had circumvented an Alcohol Ignition Interlock System and had driven after suspension as a result of a DUI on multiple occasions.

Perkins was taken into custody and processed at the Somersworth Police Department without incident. She was charged with (3) Counts of Alcohol Ignition Interlock Circumvention and (5) counts of Driving After Suspension or Revocation. She will be arraigned in the Dover Circuit Court on June 10, 2022 at 8:00 AM.

The New Hampshire State Police Troop G – Investigations Unit is comprised of highly skilled Troopers who are assigned to the Division of Motor Vehicles. They have received specialized training in the detection of fraudulent documentation and are often called upon for their expertise in this area.
