MANCHESTER, N.H. – A Massachusetts man was taken into custody on multiple charges after speeding more than 100 mph and becoming noncompliant with the State Trooper who pulled him over.
At approximately 3:45 a.m. today, April 5, 2025, Trooper Brian Knell of the Troop B barracks was patrolling Interstate 93 South in Manchester when he observed a black Cadillac XTS operating recklessly at 111 mph. Trooper Knell conducted a traffic stop and identified the driver of the Cadillac as Kevin Mwaura, 21, of Danvers, Massachusetts.
After Mwaura was told that he was being placed under arrest for reckless operation, he became noncompliant and attempted to physically resist Trooper Knell’s efforts to take him into custody. Mwaura was ultimately arrested and charged with reckless operation and resisting arrest.
