Driver Charged for Traveling 111 MPH

Rochester, New Hampshire – On September 26, 2022 at approximately 09:05 AM, Trooper Petros Lazos of the New Hampshire State Police Troop A Barracks, was on routine patrol when he observed a 2013 Honda Accord traveling 111 mph on Route 16 South, in the City of Rochester, in the area of Exit 13.

Trooper Lazos stopped the vehicle and identified the operator as Shawn Vachon, 42, of Farmington, NH.

Vachon was subsequently placed under arrest and charged with Reckless Driving. Vachon was booked and released with a Rochester Circuit Court arraignment date of November 7, 2022.

State Police reminds all motorists to obey posted speed limits and to drive with courtesy and care when on New Hampshire roadways.
