DWI Saturation/Enforcement Patrol

During the weekend of September 25, 2021 the New Hampshire State Police, Troop D conducted high visibility DWI Enforcement Patrols; specifically, a DWI Saturation Patrol in the Greater Concord area.  State Troopers stopped 88 vehicles, which resulted in 7 arrests.

Charges: Aggravated DUI, DUI, Open Container

McClellan, David
Age: 49
Concord, NH
Charges: Driving Under the Influence

DESROCHERS, Joseph
Age: 23
Warner, NH
Charges: Driving Under the Influence

SCHULTZ, Benjamin
Age: 23
New London, NH
Charges: Protective Custody-Alcohol

TUERK, Peter
Age: 31
Andover, NH
Charges: Protective Custody-Alcohol

VARGAS, Abimael
Age: 33
Lebanon, NH
Charges: Driving Without a Valid License

 

Additionally, a 17 year old male from Northfield, NH was also arrested on the following offenses:

  • Driving Under the Influence
  • Open Container
  • Minor Transporting Alcohol
  • Minor in Possession of Alcohol

The New Hampshire State Police has taken an aggressive stance to prevent persons from driving when impaired.  New Hampshire has some of the most aggressive laws in the country to fight impaired driving and the law enforcement community will use those tools to their fullest extent to make sure our citizens and visitors are safe when operating their vehicles on our roadways.
