Fatal Motor Vehicle Collision, F.E. Everett Turnpike - Merrimack
On Saturday April 10, 2021, at approximately 8:07 am, Troopers from New Hampshire State Police Troop B Barracks, along with Merrimack Police and Fire Departments, responded to a crash involving a 2006 Toyota Corolla on the Everett Turnpike southbound in the Town of Merrimack, just south of Exit 10. Upon arrival on scene it was determined the Toyota lost control and traveled down the embankment into the tree line resulting in significant damage.
The operator of the vehicle, was 17 years of age, from Nashua, NH. The operator succumbed to injuries resulting from the accident while on scene.
Initial reports indicate that the Toyota was traveling southbound in the left lane when the vehicle crossed into the right lane and then continued off the right side of the roadway. The Toyota struck multiple trees before coming to a final rest. There were no other vehicles involved with the accident. The right lane was shut down for approximately 3 hours while emergency personnel worked at the scene.
