Fatal Motor Vehicle Crash - Pike

Pike, New Hampshire – On Sunday, August 14, 2022, Troopers from the New Hampshire State Police - Troop F Barracks responded to a disturbance call in Glencliff. When troopers arrived, they learned that Jacquelyn Decareau, Age: 30, had left the area, and was headed towards Haverhill on Route 25. Troopers started to search the area for Decareau. A short time later, the Haverhill Police Department responded to a crash in Pike on Route 25 by the Haverhill/Benton town line. There, responders located a 2017 Toyota Tacoma that had crashed into a field. Responders discovered that Decareau, who was the driver of the truck, and lone occupant, had died at the scene as a result of her injuries.

Investigating troopers believe that speed and impairment led to this fatal crash. Decareau was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.

Troopers were assisted on scene by the Haverhill Police Department, North Haverhill Fire Department and Woodsville Ambulance.
