Man Arrested at the Nashua Division of Motor Vehicles while Attempting to obtain a Driver’s License While Using Fraudulent Documents

Claudio Pimentel book photoNASHUA, NH – On April 11, 2022, detectives of the New Hampshire State Police Troop G – Investigations Unit arrested Claudio Santana Pimentel, 32, of Nashua, New Hampshire. Investigators had received information that Pimentel had submitted fraudulent documents to the Division of Motor Vehicles in order to obtain a New Hampshire driver license with the intent to conceal or misrepresent its identity.

Pimentel was taken into custody at the Nashua Division of Motor Vehicles without incident. He was charged with Tampering with Public Records and Information along with Unsworn Falsification, both Class A misdemeanors. He will be arraigned in the Concord Circuit Court on May 27, 2022 at 8:00am.

The New Hampshire State Police Troop G – Investigations Unit is comprised of highly skilled Troopers who are assigned to the Division of Motor Vehicles. They have received specialized training in the detection of fraudulent documentation and are often called upon for their expertise in this area.
