Man Arrested at Nashua DMV
while Assisting Another In Using Fraudulent Documents to Obtain a Driver’s License
Nashua, New Hampshire – On September 29, 2022, members of the New Hampshire State Police Troop G Investigations Unit and Field Enforcement Unit responded to the Nashua Division of Motor Vehicles after receiving information of an individual attempting to submit fraudulent documents to support his application for a driver’s license. Upon arrival, the license applicant fled the DMV but Troopers were able to interview a second individual who was accompanying the applicant. This individual was identified as, Victor Suriel Nolasco, age 32, of Nashua, New Hampshire.
Investigation revealed that Nolasco supplied the applicant fraudulent documentation to aid in providing proof of New Hampshire residency. Proof of residency is one of several requirements in the application process. Additionally, the identification documentation submitted by the applicant was determined to be fraudulent as well.
Nolasco was arrested without incident at the Division of Motor Vehicles and charged with Conspiracy to Commit Tampering with Public Records and Conspiracy to Commit Unsworn Falsification both Class B Misdemeanors. He was released on Personal Recognizance bail and will be arraigned in the 9th Circuit Court – District Division – Nashua on November 9, 2022 at 8:00 A.M.
The New Hampshire State Police Troop G – Investigations Unit is comprised of Troopers who are assigned to the Division of Motor Vehicles whose primary mission is the investigation of fraud involving DMV processes. They have received specialized training in the detection of fraud and fraudulent documentation and are often called upon for their expertise in this area.
