Motor Vehicle Accident - F.E. Everett Turnpike Merrimack

On November 13, 2021 at approximately 6:55 pm, Troopers from the New Hampshire State Police Troop B Barracks along with Merrimack Police, Merrimack Fire and EMS, responded to the report of a single car motor vehicle crash involving a 1998 Ford Ranger, Color: Gray.

The crash occurred on the F.E. Everett Turnpike at mile marker 16 southbound in the town of Merrimack, NH. On scene investigation revealed the operator and sole occupant of the vehicle Joseph Basiliere, Age 55, Nashua, NH, lost control of his vehicle and drove off the right side of the roadway causing it to strike a tree. Basiliere was transported to the Elliott Hospital in Manchester, NH for treatment of serious injuries sustained from the crash.

Speed and weather conditions appear to be a factor in this crash, however, all aspects remain under investigation and anyone who may have witnessed the crash is asked to contact Trooper B. Pierson at Bradley.Pierson@dos.nh.gov or 603-223-8364.
