photo of damaged chrysler town and countryRichmond, NH ‐ On April 20th at approximately 6:10PM, Troopers from the New Hampshire State Police Troop C Barracks were dispatched to the scene of a motor vehicle collision on Rte. 119 in Richmond near the Winchester town line. On scene investigation determined that a 2010 Chrysler Town & Country driven by Michael Wilson, Age 39, Winchester, NH, was traveling westbound when it crossed the center line, left the roadway and struck a tree. The vehicle was propped against that tree and otherwise would have traveled into the nearby Roaring Brook. Mr. Wilson was entrapped in the vehicle and was extricated by Fire and Rescue personnel. He was transported by ambulance to the Richmond Fire Station where he was then airlifted to Bay State Medical in Springfield, Massachusetts with serious, but non-life threatening injuries.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation and charges are possible.

The New Hampshire State Police were assisted on scene by the Winchester Police Department, Richmond Fire & Rescue, Fitzwilliam Fire & Rescue, Winchester Fire Department, and DiLuzio Ambulance Service.

Anyone with information regarding this crash is asked to contact Trooper Troy Couillard via Troop C dispatch at (603) 223-8494, or via email at Troy.J.Couillard@dos.nh.gov.
