Police Respond to Shots Fired in Concord

CONCORD, New Hampshire – On August 20, 2022 at approximately 3:56 PM, the Concord Police Department and the New Hampshire State Police responded to a report of shots fired on Rumford Street.

No injuries were reported. Police are looking into a possible road rage incident, which involved a light colored Honda Civic and a dark colored Chevrolet Malibu. Police are asking local residents and business owners to review security systems.

Update

On August 25, 2022, New Hampshire State Police – Troop D made an arrest after the investigation of a report of shots fired on Rumford Street on August 20, 2022.

New Hampshire State Police arrested Ezra Burdette (age 20) of Concord, NH.

Burdette is being charged with Reckless Conduct. Burdette was released on Personal Recognizance bail and will be arraigned at the Merrimack County Superior Court on September 15, 2022.
