Probable Drowning, Merrimack River - Bow

Bow, NH – On Thursday, April 28, 2022 at approximately 11:58 AM, New Hampshire State Police Communications received notification from Bow Police Department reporting that two anglers had located what appeared to be a deceased adult female in the Merrimack River in close proximity of the boat launch in Bow.

New Hampshire State Police-Marine Patrol Sergeant Joshua Dirth and Marine Patrol Officer Emmanuel Scigliano responded to the scene and conducted an initial investigation. Responding agencies included New Hampshire State Police, Bow Police Department, Bow Fire Department and Hooksett Fire Department.

Investigators are working with the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in an effort to identify the victim. An autopsy has been scheduled for tomorrow morning in Concord.
