State Police Cruiser Struck On The Everett Turnpike

NASHUA, N.H. – A New Hampshire State Police Trooper's cruiser was struck while investigating another crash on the F.E. Everett Turnpike.
At 6:14 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 22, 2025, Trooper Mark Lingerman, assigned to the Troop B barracks, was investigating a crash on the F.E. Everett Turnpike northbound in the split lanes of Exit 4. Trooper Lingerman used his State Police cruiser to shut down the right lane. The cruiser’s emergency lights were activated.
During the investigation, a Nissan Altima, driven by Michael Crissis, 86, of Nashua, failed to move over and struck Trooper Lingerman’s cruiser from behind. Trooper Lingerman, who was inside his cruiser when it was hit, was transported to Southern New Hampshire Medical Center to be evaluated for suspected minor injuries. Crissis was not hurt. No other vehicles were involved in the crash.
