Troopers Respond to Report of Shots Fired

Grafton, New Hampshire – On August 21, 2022 at approximately 5:22 PM, troopers from the New Hampshire State Police – Troop F barracks were dispatched to the report of a male who had discharged a handgun inside an occupied residence on Williams Hill Road in the Town of Grafton. Upon initial investigation, it was determined that a male, later identified as Peter Mancini, Age 44 of Grafton, NH, discharged a handgun inside his residence after an argument with his wife. No individuals were struck by the gunfire and two females who were inside of the residence, were able to safely leave.

Upon police arrival, Mr. Mancini exited the residence and was taken into custody without incident. Mr. Mancini is being held on preventative detention at the Grafton County House of Corrections for the charges of Reckless Conduct (Felony B), Criminal Threatening (Felony B), Criminal Mischief (Felony B). Other charges may be forthcoming as the investigation continues. He is scheduled to be arraigned on August 22, 2022 at the Grafton Superior Court.

The New Hampshire State Police Troop F barracks were assisted by the Enfield Police Department.
