Two Injured In Rollover Crash On Route 101
Troop A
EPPING, N.H. – A Manchester woman and her sole passenger were hurt following a rollover crash on Route 101.
At approximately 2:32 p.m. today, Wednesday, March 12, 2025, State Troopers assigned to the Troop A barracks responded to a report of a crash on Route 101 East near the Martin Road overpass, between Exits 6 and 7, in Epping. When they arrived, Troopers determined the crash involved a single vehicle with two occupants. Troopers began providing aid to those injured in the crash and, with the assistance of officers from the Epping Police Department, closed the right travel lane near the crash.
The preliminary investigation determined that a 2008 Volkswagen Jetta, driven by Olivia C. Travers, 19, of Manchester, had been traveling eastbound, reportedly at a high rate of speed, when Travers swerved onto the left shoulder of the highway to avoid another motorist. Travers then swerved to the right and crossed both eastbound lanes before going off the right side of the highway. The Volkswagen overturned and ultimately came to rest on its roof in a wooded area next to the highway.
Travers was transported to an area hospital for treatment of moderate but non-life-threatening injuries. A passenger in the Volkswagen, identified as Luis D. Colon Jr., 19, of Manchester, was also transported to an area hospital for treatment of serious and potentially life-threatening injuries.
Due to the severity of the crash, members of the New Hampshire State Police Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) Unit responded to the scene to assist members of Troop A with documentation of the scene. Traffic was impacted in the area for approximately two and a half hours while Troopers conducted their investigation and emergency personnel worked to remove the involved vehicle and associated debris. Troopers were assisted at the scene by members of the Epping Police Department, Epping Fire Department, Brentwood Fire & Rescue, Raymond Fire Department and the New Hampshire Department of Transportation.
All aspects of the crash remain under investigation. Anyone with information that may assist the investigation is asked to contact Trooper Brian Hanna at Brian.D.Hanna@DOS.NH.GOV.
