Untimely Death in Sanbornton

Concord, NH – Colonel Nathan A. Noyes and Chief Steve Hankard announce that the New Hampshire State Police and the Sanbornton Police Department are currently investigating a reported untimely death in the Town of Sanbornton, New Hampshire.

An autopsy is tentatively scheduled for Thursday October 21, 2021 by the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Concord, NH.

Based on the investigation to date, there appears to be no danger to the public in connection with this incident. All relevant parties appear to have been identified and next of kin notifications are pending.  Additional information will be released as it becomes available and/or after autopsy.

Update October 21, 2021

The autopsy was completed on October 21, 2021. The decedent is identified as Megan Robinson, 33 years old, from Tuftonboro, NH. The cause and manner of death are pending investigation/pending toxicology, however the death does not appear suspicious at this time. The New Hampshire State Police does not expect to release any further updates in this matter.
