The Silver Alert for Eugene Burroughs has been canceled. Additional inquiries should be directed to the Milton Police Department.

MILTON, N.H. – At the request of the Milton Police Department, the New Hampshire State Police has authorized an activation of the Missing Vulnerable Adult/Silver Alert System. Law enforcement is asking for the public’s assistance in locating the following individual:
Name: Eugene W. Burroughs
Age: 73
Height: 5’7”
Weight: 200 lbs.
Hair: Gray/Brown
Eyes: Blue
Burroughs was last seen today, Feb. 2, 2025, between noon and 1 p.m. at his home on Winding Road in Milton. Family members believe he left his residence on foot and may have walked into the woods nearby.
Burroughs was last seen wearing a black knit cap, a blue jacket, gray pants and black snowmobile-type shoes. He requires daily medication and has a mental health illness. Family members and law enforcement are concerned for his safety and well-being due to the duration of his missing status and current weather conditions.
The New Hampshire State Police is assisting in the search for Burroughs and is providing multiple resources, including a K9 team and a drone.
