Update: Silver Alert Canceled - Missing Vulnerable Adult In Hinsdale

INITIAL NEWS RELEASE

HINSDALE, N.H. – The New Hampshire State Police has authorized an activation of the Missing Vulnerable Adult/Silver Alert System. Law enforcement is asking for the public’s assistance in locating the following individual:

Name: Scott Plante

Age: 62

Height: 5’11”

Weight: 215 lbs.

Hair: Brown

Eyes: Hazel

Plante was last seen at approximately 8:20 a.m. on Thursday, April 17, 2025, when he parked his vehicle on Main Street in Hinsdale, near his residence. Plante is believed to be on foot.

Plante was last seen wearing blue jeans, a button-down jean shirt, and black sneakers. He requires daily medication and has a mental health illness. Family members and law enforcement are concerned for his safety and well-being due to the duration of his missing status.
