Wrong Way Driver Motor Vehicle Crash on F.E. Everett Turnpike South, Nashua, NH

On April 8th, 2022 at approximately 10:50 AM, Troopers from the New Hampshire State Police Troop B Barracks, along with Officers from Nashua Police department and medical and fire personnel from the Nashua Fire Department, responded to the report of a multiple vehicle crash, resulting from a wrong way driver on the F.E. Everett Turnpike in Nashua.

Upon arrival, it was determined that a blue 2011 Chevrolet Malibu  was traveling northbound in the southbound lanes of the F.E. Everett Turnpike and collided head on with a 2010 Toyota Tacoma pick-up truck. The operator of the Malibu was identified as a 83 year old Female from Merrimack, NH.

After the head on impact, one of the vehicles struck a Jeep Wrangler and forced it off the roadway resulting in a rollover. Two other sedans were struck in the crash, receiving minor but disabling damage. 

As a result of the crash the operator of the Malibu was transported to Southern New Hampshire Regional Hospital for serious injuries. Operators from 3 of the other vehicles were transported to an out of state hospital for various injuries. The left 3 lanes of the F.E. Everett Turnpike South in Nashua, NH near exit 4 were shut down for approximately 3 hours while emergency personnel worked the scene.
