State Office Complex Police
On January 1, 2005, the New Hampshire Hospital/State Office Park South (NHH/SOPS) Campus Police force transferred to the Department of Safety from the Department of Health and Human Services.
Members of this security unit provide police coverage to NHH/SOPS through the enforcement of federal, state, and local laws, and internal policies and procedures. Additionally, personnel provide general and specialized services to customers by providing a safe and secure environment that allows patients/residents, employees, volunteers, and visitors to deliver and receive quality services.
Campus Police personnel also assist with the management of several community benefits and special events scheduled on campus, such as Independence Day celebrations and charity walks/races.
