Body Discovered in Highland Lake - Update

An autopsy has been completed by the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner and the victim has been identified as Therese M. Donohue, age 26, of Hooksett, New Hampshire.  The manner and cause of death are pending.  The investigation remains ongoing and there are no additional updates at this time.

ANDOVER, New Hampshire – On Monday, July 10, 2023, at approximately 7:22 a.m., Troopers assigned to the New Hampshire State Police Troop D Barracks responded to a call of a body that had been found in Highland Lake in Andover, NH.  Additional Officers and Troopers from the Andover Police Department, Marine Patrol, and the Major Crime Unit responded to investigate.  The body had been discovered and reported by a resident on West Shore Drive. This investigation is ongoing, and the immediate cause of death is not known.
New Hampshire State Police would like to thank the following agencies for their assistance at the scene and with the investigation:

New Hampshire Medical Examiner’s Office

An autopsy is tentatively scheduled for tomorrow by the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner, and the identity of the individual will be released once next of kin is notified.
