Crash on I-89 North in Grantham

Grantham, NH – On May 7, 2022, at approximately 1:34 PM, Troopers from the New Hampshire State Police, Troop D Barracks responded to a motor vehicle crash in the area of mile marker 41.4 on Interstate 89 North in Grantham.

A 2015 Chevrolet Tahoe towing a 21’ long camper trailer lost control, struck the guard rail and overturned coming to a stop blocking both lanes of the Interstate. Northbound traffic was stopped for approximately 2 hours.

The operator was identified as Jillian Pekins of Pembroke, NH, Age: 36. Fortunately, there were no injuries to the operator or her juvenile passenger.

New Hampshire State Police was assisted at the scene and managing traffic by Grantham Fire and Rescue, Grantham Police, Springfield Police, New London Police, Sunapee Police and Patten’s Towing & Recovery.
