Cruiser Struck While Trooper Investigates Crash

vehicles involved in cruiser crash incidentConcord, New Hampshire – On December 11, 2022, at approximately 5:40 PM, Trooper Joshua Farmer from the New Hampshire State Police Troop D Barracks was investigating a single motor vehicle crash on the I-93 exit 14 southbound on-ramp in the city of Concord.

While on scene investigating the motor vehicle crash, a 2022 Nissan Rogue lost control and struck the rear of the fully marked cruiser as Trooper Farmer was seated in the driver's seat. The operator was identified as: Rainice Lai, Age: 31, Dorchester, MA.

There were no reported injuries to the operator of the Nissan and the Trooper was transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Ms. Lai was determined to be at fault for the crash and was charged with negligent driving.

New Hampshire State Police was assisted at the scene by the Concord Police Department and New England Truck Center towing.
