Do You Have What It Takes To Be A Guardian Of The Granite State?

NH State Police & NH Army National Guard host a fitness competition

Concord, NH – On Saturday, May 21, 2022, the New Hampshire State Police are teaming up with the New Hampshire Army National Guard to host the final stage of the Guardians of the Granite State fitness competition in search of the student who will claim the title of ‘Granite Guardian’ by earning the highest score on the Army Combat Fitness Test.

Throughout 2022, Troopers and Guardsmen have visited New Hampshire high schools where students had their fitness measured by taking the NH State Police recruitment fitness test (Cooper Standards) that included push-ups, sit-ups, and running ability. The top three females and top three males with the highest scores were selected to represent their high school in the final competition.

You, your friends, and your family are invited to participate, mentor or watch. Registration is open until Friday, May 20, 2022 at 5PM. Come as a family or as a single contestant.

The event will be held at the Edward Cross Training Center, 720 Riverwood Dr. in Pembroke, NH.
