Driver Arrested for DUI After Traveling 124 MPH on I-93

CONCORD, New Hampshire – On December 6, 2023, at approximately 11:58 p.m., Trooper Tyler Griffin of the New Hampshire State Police Troop D barracks spotted a motor vehicle on I-93 Southbound in the city of Concord traveling 124 MPH in the posted 65 MPH zone.

Trooper Griffin was able to locate and stop the vehicle approximately 3 miles south of where he first spotted the speeding vehicle. The driver was identified as:

Jacob Riley Hebert 
Age: 19 
Laconia, NH

During the course of the roadside investigation, Trooper Griffin identified three other passengers in the vehicle including a child under the age of 16. Trooper Griffin arrested HEBERT for Aggravated Driving Under the Influence, Reckless Operation, Transporting Alcoholic Beverages by a Minor, Reckless Conduct and Endangering the Welfare of a Child. 

Two of the passengers were also arrested for Unlawful Possession and Intoxication and Open Container. 

HEBERT and the two passengers were bailed and released and are scheduled to appear at the Concord District Court in January.
