Commercial Motor Vehicle Crash

Enfield, New Hampshire – On December 1, 2022, at approximately 4:50AM, New Hampshire State Police Troop D responded to the scene of a commercial motor vehicle crash on Interstate 89 North at exit 15 in the town of Enfield, NH. During that time, the Enfield area was experiencing a winter storm.

A box truck was driving in the right lane as it approached a left hand curve in the roadway. The box truck began to brake and moved into the left high-speed lane. It was during this time when the truck lost control and flipped over onto its left side. As a result, the truck slid on its side for approximately 275' feet and damaged the guardrail on the left side of the highway. The operator McGregor Moise, Age: 30, Providence, RI, was transported to Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center by Enfield Fire and Rescue to be evaluated. The left lanes of I-89 northbound and southbound were shut down for several hours for the investigation and roadway clean up.

The operator was charged with speeding; too fast for existing conditions.

New Hampshire State Police Troop D was assisted on scene by Trooper First Class Mark Magoon of New Hampshire State Police Troop G, Enfield Police Department, Lebanon and Enfield Fire and Rescue, and the New Hampshire Department of Transportation.
