Man Arrested for Attempting to Obtain a New Hampshire Title Using Fraudulent Documents

CONCORD, New Hampshire - On March 12, 2024, members of the New Hampshire State Police, Troop G – Investigations Unit arrested Wyatt P. Hugg, age 20, of Charlestown, New Hampshire.  Investigators received information that Hugg submitted fraudulent documents to the Charlestown Town Clerk’s Office for the purpose of obtaining a New Hampshire title in his name.  After determining that the owner of the vehicle was deceased, prior to the alleged sale of the vehicle, signed documents were discovered to be fabricated and submitted to the State.      

Hugg was arrested on a warrant without incident and charged with RSA 641:7 Tampering with Public Records or Information and RSA 641:3 Unsworn Falsification.  He will be arraigned in the 5th Circuit Court – District Division – Claremont, on May 13, 2024, at 8:30 a.m.
