Manchester Man Indicted on Identity Fraud Charges

photo of Edinson Vladimir Tejeda AriaConcord, NH – On April 12, 2022, detectives of the New Hampshire State Police, Troop G – Investigations Unit secured an indictment on Edinson Vladimir Tejeda Arias, 48, last known address Manchester, New Hampshire. Investigators had discovered that in December 2021 Arias had submitted fraudulent documents to the Division of Motor Vehicles in order to obtain a NH driver license with the intent to conceal or misrepresent his identity.

An indictment was secured in Merrimack County Superior Court for the charge(s) of Identity Fraud, a class A felony and Forgery a class B felony. Other charges include Tampering with Public Records and Unsworn Falsification. A New England Wide extraditable warrant is in effect for Arias.

The New Hampshire State Police Troop G – Investigations Unit is comprised of highly skilled Troopers who are assigned to the Division of Motor Vehicles. They have received specialized training in the detection of fraudulent documentation and are often called upon for their expertise in this area.
