Motor Vehicle Pursuit and Arrest

MANCHESTER, New Hampshire - On January 8, 2024, at approximately 10:13 p.m., Trooper Moran of the New Hampshire State Police Troop B Barracks observed a vehicle traveling at speeds over 100 MPH and failing to maintain lane control. Trooper Moran attempted to stop the vehicle on Interstate 93 North, but the vehicle did not stop, and a pursuit ensued. The vehicle was identified as a:

2013 Infiniti G37X
Color: Silver

During the pursuit, the vehicle accelerated to speeds of 130 MPH and continued driving erratically. The vehicle exited the highway, and the pursuit was terminated due to danger this vehicle posed to other motorists.

Shortly after, Troop B Troopers and Officers from the Manchester Police Department arrived at the address of the vehicles registered owner in Manchester. Upon arrival, the vehicle and operator were quickly located, and the operator was taken into custody without incident. The operator was identified as:

Travis Dahood
Age: 42
Manchester, NH

During the investigation, it was determined that Dahood was driving under the influence and his license was suspended. Dahood was charged with Felony Reckless Conduct, Aggravated Driving Under the Influence, Disobeying a Police Officer, Operating After Suspension, Reckless Driving, and Negligent Driving. Dahood was released on cash bail and will appear in Hillsborough Superior Court in February.

All aspects of this case remain under investigation and anyone with information should contact Trooper William Moran at William.J.Moran@dos.nh.gov or (603) 451-9766.
