Motor Vehicle Pursuit Ends in DUI Arrest

NORTH HAMPTON, New Hampshire – On October 14, 2023, at approximately 3:06 a.m., New Hampshire State Police Trooper Cameron Vetter from the Troop A Barracks attempted to stop a motor vehicle traveling 127 MPH in a posted 65 MPH zone on Interstate 95 southbound in the town of North Hampton. 

The operator failed to stop for the Trooper Vetter’s emergency lights and sirens and continued to flee traveling southbound on I-95 towards Massachusetts. The vehicle slowed to approximately 60 MPH while exhibiting lane control issues. The operator was eventually stopped south of the Hampton toll plaza and taken into custody without incident.

The operator was identified as:

Collin J. Farrell 
Age: 20
Westwood, MA

Farrell faces charges out the Hampton District Court to include DUI Aggravated – Attempt to Elude, DUI Aggravated - .16+, DUI – Impairment and Reckless Operation. Farrell is scheduled to appear at the Hampton District Court on October 26, 2023, at 8:00 a.m.
