Operation Turnpike Protection

NASHUA, New Hampshire - Troopers from the New Hampshire State Police Troop B barracks conducted high visibility patrols on the Everett Turnpike in Nashua during commuting hours March 4 - March 8, 2024 for the second consecutive week. Troopers stopped 100 vehicles during this initiative for various violations. Troopers focused mainly on speed and aggressive driving behaviors. Throughout the initiative Troopers made three arrests:

• James York, age 37, of Derry NH was arrested for Operating W/O Valid License, Unregistered Vehicle.

• Shane Donovan, age 24, Tyngsboro MA was arrested for Aggravated DUI 30+ over posted speed limit. 

• Alphonso Walker, age 26, of Manchester NH was arrested for Driving After Suspension, Misuse of Plates, Bench Warrants.

These enforcement efforts will continue through the month of March, and into the Spring season with the goal of improving safety during the commuting hours on the Everett Turnpike.
