Reckless Driving Arrests - Route 101, Raymond

At approximately 1221 hours on June 9, 2019, Trooper Thomas Lombardi of the New Hampshire State Police Special Enforcement Unit was monitoring traffic from the State Police aircraft on Route 101 eastbound in the Town of Raymond. While monitoring traffic, Troopers were advised of a group of motorcycles traveling eastbound at a high rate of speed going in and out of traffic causing a hazard to themselves and other operators. Two of the motorcycles were reported to have passengers on them. After a short period of time, Trooper Lombardi observed the motorcycles operating at extremely high rates of speed. The motorcycles were clocked at 125MPH in the 65MPH zone. Trooper Lombardi radioed to Troopers on the ground.

Those Troopers assisting on the ground were Sergeant Christopher Storm, TFC Sean Faherty and Trooper Scott Garton of the Special Enforcement Unit along with Trooper Tyler Dodds of Troop-A. Trooper Lombardi continued to provide updates to the Troopers on the ground as the motorcycles continued eastbound. As the motorcycles approached exit 4, the four Troopers were able to safely slow traffic and apprehend all 7 motorcycles involved. All seven operators were subsequently arrested for Reckless Operation. The two passengers were not charged. The arrested were identified as:

    Quincy, MA

  2. Anthony Walsh, Age 26 yrs old
    Dedham, MA

  3. Orlando Rosario, Age 31 yrs old
    Worcester, MA

  4. Sean Burr, Age 25 yrs old
    Quincy, MA

  5. Dallas Rogers, Age 36 yrs old
    Marlborough, MA

  6. James Vo, Age 30 yrs old
    Braintree, MA

  7. Phi Tran, Age 30 yrs old
    Dorchester, MA

All seven arrested are due to appear in the Candia Circuit Court to answer to this charge on October 16, 2019 at 0800.

The NH State Police Special Enforcement Unit regularly interdicts elevated speed violations and other aggressive driving behaviors. Its members patrol across the state often utilizing the State Police aircraft during commuter traffic periods and holiday travel times with the goal of keeping New Hampshire's roadways safe for all residents and visitors.
