Three Vehicle Rollover Crash

WINDHAM, New Hampshire – On September 17, 2023, at approximately 9:45 p.m., Troopers from the New Hampshire State Police Troop B Barracks received a report of a three-vehicle rollover crash on Interstate 93 southbound in the area of mile marker 7.8 in Windham.

While the crash remains under investigation, the preliminary information obtained by Troopers indicates that a Toyota 4-Runner collided with the backend of a Honda Civic causing the Honda to spin out of control. The Honda was then struck by a pick-up truck and pushed off roadway. The 4-Runner continued to lose control and rolled over into the right breakdown lane, the pick-up truck also lost control and rolled onto its side blocking the middle lanes.

The driver and passenger of the Civic were transported to the Elliot Hospital in Manchester to be treated for serious but non-life-threatening injuries. No one else reported any injuries.

The crash resulted in all lanes of the highway being shut down for approximately one hour while emergency crews investigated and removed the vehicles.

Anyone with information regarding this incident, please contact Trooper Benjamin Olmstead at (603) 223-4381 or Benjamin.M.Olmstead@dos.nh.gov.
