Auxiliary Troopers
State Police Auxiliary Troopers are part-time sworn troopers assigned throughout the state. These committed men and women assist Division members in public relation events, communications, patrol, traffic control, and select investigations.
The minimum qualifications to become an Auxiliary Trooper are the same minimum qualifications to become a State Trooper I. The Auxiliary Troopers must also meet the same annual in-service and firearms training requirements as full-time troopers.
